P.R.S.L.O.L.S.F

We made this project in partnership with the libraries of Nantes for "Les Utopiales", a Sci-Fi event in Nantes . The goal of this project was to offer a different way to discover science-fiction litterature. We used a database that contains every book title in every library in Nantes and we only kept the science-fiction ones. With Gephi, a software for data-visualisation, we created a gigantic map with all the words contained in every title. After that, we created a platform using sigma.js, an open project to help people creating online version of Gephi files. I used CSS and Javascript to create a more sci-fi design and better interaction.

LOUD

For a series of conference about data-visusalisation called Datarama. We created a dynamic visualisation of the speakers. We used a box call Midirbox to get the movement and sound data from the speaker. The goal was to create a visual and musical summary of each conference during break times. I used javascript to create a cloud of dots that represents how loud the speaker is. The inside circle shows the number of tweets in real time, getting bigger after each tweet.
